BX23S Operator Manual PDF with bookmarks that work

I've downloaded several copies of the BX23S Operator Manual PDF, including one from Kubota Canada's web site. I've seen two versions; K2892-7121-2 and K2892-7121-3.

I noticed that many of the table of contents/bookmarks in the -3 version don't work. That irritated me, so I fixed them. The PDF is too big to post here, so I put it on github.

I would like to have them. A PDF or a link is good for me. I have two binders on all the various accessories that I have on my tractor. Never can have too much information available at your fingertips.

Cool. I post it up somehow tomorrow. Just to be clear what this is ... the Operator's Manual PDF already has bookmarks in it so you can quickly navigate around in the document. But about a third of them don't work, so you click on on a bookmark and nothing happens. In my version, all the bookmarks work. So, still the same PDF, but the bookmarks inside it are fixed. I did something similar back when I had a VW TDI. There was a 1,000+ page rogue PDF of the service manual but no navigation, so it was a nightmare trying to find anything. Setting that up was quite a bit more complicated. This Kubota manual took me less than an hour to fix.

I don't know, some people are lost causes. But perhaps you are referring to the monitor, depending on exactly what you mean by "behind"

The bookmarks are viewed in a separate pane ... it's not the table of contents pages actually in the PDF. Some PDF viewers call it "Table of Contents" some call it "Bookmarks".

This screen shot shows the pane on the left, viewed in MacOS Preview. Also, note that I put a link at the very top for the Index, so you can get to it quickly.

Let me know if you find any errors. I found one earlier today but I didn't take a note of it ... it was one page off.

The original and the fixed version of the PDF are there. You want the one that has the suffix "-Fixed" on it. Hover your mouse over the two and you should see which one is which.
