[BX23S] How do you like that seat angle??

How many BX23S owners are out there, who do not like the seat angle?

Do you feel as of you could slide off the seat?

Does the seat safety switch lose contact and cause the tractor to cut-out?

I had the same problem on my M7040. I shimmed the front seat where it bolts to the tractor and solved the problem. It tilted the seat bottom up in front and I no longer feel like I’m going to slide off.

LOL, but the topic is relative to the BX23S. Our seat is not like yours at all.

Seat angle doesn’t bother me a bit now that I disabled the safety switch, before that, yes, annoying.

That switch is not thought out very well.

No problem here, but mine is 2017 vintage. Not sure if there was a change on the BX23S-1? Im also not a light weight so im sure that helps!

I have the BX23s-1. I frequent going down a fairly steep hill out back. When I do, I have to push myself back in the seat, and plant my feet on the floor, otherwise it will cut out and die. At that point it's HANG ON and ride it out to the bottom. That's not a good situation to be in, especially because there's a damn mountain gopher that has a main highway at a 45° to my path. And ready for it or not, that situation could go stupid. I'm 180Lbs.

There are no bolts, but I already have a plan for my BX23S-1.

Yeah I have got into that runaway downhill before with a few hay bails on the FEL and no weight on the back! Drop the FEL to the ground to regain control!

My chiropractor and message therapists prefer I use the Kubota OEM "minimalist suspension seats". Every time I hit a bump my spine crunches and then I slide off the seat. I put their kids through college.
