Heres an odd one....

The 4-way flashers on my BX won't shut off.

I'm thinking maybe a bad flasher? or the round push button switch...

I sprayed a little contact cleaner around the button but didn't help.

haven't had time to look for the flasher or investigate further.
... but I will soon.

anyone ever have this problem?

Not the flasher.
The flasher is always powered on in error.

Most likely the switch.
Or maybe a short.

yeesh, that's a $140 switch in Canada
After you get the new one installed, please cover the 'dash' area.. though I've pressure washed mine dozens of times in 4 years.....hmm..... I can't be THAT lucky.......

Maybe remove switch from tractor, squirt WD40 in any holes 'underneath' and push on/push of 20-30 times ??

If you take the connector off the switch and the hazard lights stop flashing then you will know that the switch is the problem.
Then you can decide if you want to try to get the switch to work again or buy a new one.

Once you fix it. Get some dielectric grease and put that on the connectors it will help keep the water out of them. Also, like posted. Cover the dash. They are more just water resistant than water proof.

Finally had a minute to remove the switch and inspect it.

Seems the problem was just a sticky switch/button....
I cleaned everything up and lubed up the moving parts with dielectric grease.... everything seems to be working fine again.
