As the title says, was working in the woods and saw something shinny on the ground. Picked it up and looks like a pin from the tractor.

At the time I had the Backhoe, FEL with land pride grapple on it. The tractor has a drive over mower deck, but the deck is not currently on.

For the lift of me, can't figure out where it came from.

Looks like the lock pin the keeps the backhoe from swaying left and right

That's what I though at first, but, I have both locking pins, and it's too small, and the J hook part is much shorter. Thinking might be the pin for the lock on the mower deck frame.

Whatever it is I wouldn't worry, it's too shiny and clean to be a pin that was in use. It definitely looks like a locking pin of some sort

Turns out it was a front pin on the lifter arms under the tractor for the mower deck (the grey arms that have a pin under the brake area. Apparently no cotter pin was installed. Machine has 12 ish hours on it so far.

Started doing a left side right side compare and noticed the missing pin. Would have been a bummer tomorrow when I went to mow!
