BX2380 mid mount rear link

The rh rear link on my BX is bent and twisted. Recieved new part in mail but cannot get the old one out. Removed floor pan and loosened rear fenders. Right side will rotate all the way up but cannot get left to rotate so the triangular shape will allow it to slide out. Any idea how to remove the bushing/collar?
