I currently have a 2370 that i'm looking to sell/trade on a 23S. One thing i noticed with the 23S when sitting on it is that the seat feels like it alot higher than the seat on the 2370. Enough of a difference that I think it might make me feel a little more uncomfortable when mowing on slanted hills. Center of gravity being up quite a bit more.

Is this really the case or is it the fact that the instrument panel is lower to allow for the tilt wheel that makes it seem like i'm sitting up higher?

Your weight is not going to effect the center of gravity a whole lot! ;)
You would have to weigh a whole bunch and you would have to be much higher.

The 23S seat is on a pull up and swivel base so you can reverse it for backhoe operation. That may be the difference you noticed.

My land is pretty flat so I have not experienced the uneasy feeling some have noticed, but there is a market for spacers and rear tire filling so this must be an issue on hilly land.

If you do get the 23S and consider spacers there are clearance conflicts with some mid mount mowers that you need to be aware of.

I love my 23S. My neighbor with a full size green tractor has been very impressed at the work I can get done with the hoe and grapple on my "toy" tractor!
