BX2370 starting issues

Thought it was my main switch, so I replaced that and it didn't help. Tractor turns on, glow plug lights, but when I turn to engage starter, everything dies.

What could be the problem?

you have enough current to light the lights(2-3 amps) but not enough to spin the starter(100+amps)

The battery is good. I've checked it and it has a full charge

Then do a voltage drop on the cables when trying to start.

Not to jump to a crazy conclusion - but a fully charged battery can only be called a fully charged if you do a load test on it.
I cannot begin to tell you how many batteries I have had that showed 12.6 but could not provide the amps to start.

so true, for a simple test he might just want to put the voltmeter on the batter and watch the voltage as he cranks it over. let us know what the reading goes down to. On the other hand it could be good and have bad connections or cables. good luck

Yes, that was the first thing I tried.

were the cable ON the starter ? IE you bypassed the battery cables ?

As all of us have mentioned - take all cables off, clean with light sanding, bright. Then place back on and snug tight. SEE IF this makes any difference.
