Hi all, in the market for something small for loader, possible lawn cutting if it works well enough.
can get a new BX2380 for about $17,500, and am looking at a used 2015 BX2370 with only 100 hrs for $12k (non drive over deck).

i'm leaning towards the BX2370 to save the money, but would lose the warranty/zero % financing, etc.

just looking for opinions/recommendations between the 2.

Thanks

I decided to go used to save a bunch of cash. I just bought a 2015 BX2670 right before Christmas and saved a bunch of cash. I figured with my age, I'll never wear it out anyways. My tractor has a bit over 300 hours, but it is in very good condition and the dealer did a complete service on it. It still has a few months of factory warrentee left on it too. I like the older style quick hitch better than the new set up myself. Just picked up a used snow blower and blade and saved a bunch of cash there too. The guy paid 5 grand for the blower 2 years ago and sold it to me cheap, I'm very happy buying lightly used.

I just purchased a BX2380 with standard FEL and 54" standard MMM deck a few days ago for $14,750. People in my area want $11k to $12k for a used BX, for only a bit more I get a brand new tractor and implements, warranty, 0%, and all the design upgrades of the BX2380 a no brainer to me.

I bought a new one also- Looked for 2 years used and I am very particular about my stuff- I know its a tracotr but i plan to keep it forever so I ended up buying new and I NEVER buy anything new ( cars , SNowmobiles always used )

Warranty and zero percent and I want it to look new for 20 years to come
Difference in price was like 4 thousand over a used machine with 300 hours that was heavily used. I plan to have my children use it long after Im gone so i take well care of it ( im only 40 lol )

Warranty is nice but to be honest you are buying a machine that in my opinion if used properly will never break. Its design is a compact tractor- If used as such it wont break. Components are so heavy duty and over engineered. Yes it can do much more then designed but you can also stuff 12 lbs of shit in a 6 pound bag if you so desire- Just don't be alarmed when bag breaks.

If you go used ppl that love their equipment usually have a paper trail of maintenance and items that have been fixed/repaired. Accidents happen- look for those used tractors. Not ones that have been beat and left outside fading for 4 years.
