i have a BX2350 with the well known cracked plastic fender issues. tractor is low time and otherwise in good shape. i have read that i can swap a metal BX2360 fender in place of the plastic trash that came on this tractor. i was wondering if someone could verify that a metal BX2360 fender would fit on my BX2350. thanks

I have had the same problem with my BX2350, and have asked the same question on several other forums. Also I asked the dealer where I purchased it new, and they said "Probably not, but, MAYBE it would". I asked them if they were to order one for me and it DIDN'T fit, could I return it and get my money back? They said "Sure, with a 30% restocking fee". WHAT ? ? ? Stupid answer.

Since we're all here guessing. When you pull up the parts diagram for the 2360 it sure looks very similar to the 50 series hood and fender, attachment points, cut-outs, handles etc.

I replaced all my plastic body parts last year, very easy to do.

This guy replaced the plastic fender on his BX24 with steel. Maybe he can give you more info.

I think he was referring to the metal floor pan, even though he called it "fender pan'. His hood and rear fender both appear to be plastic. I could be wrong, but going by the thickness in his photos.

My hood, front wrap around grill panel and rear fender are all plastic. The floor/running board is steel. I think those plastic panels were a terrible idea

I think plastic done right would have been ok, but I think kubota went cheap on these panels. By done right I'm talking heavy duty fiberglass reinforced

What did you replace your plastic parts with? Plastic or metal?

my dealer said the metal body pieces would not fit, so I ordered and installed new plastic ones.

The BX2350 is the same "Tin" work as the BX2360. The BX2350 parts are not worth buying or fixing.
Go find or purchase the Hood (Bonnet) from a BX2360,BX2370,BX2660, or BX2670 they will all fit. You must use the new mounting bracket that came with the newer hood. Head lights are the same. I had to grind a little on the BX2350's bracket that was on the tractor a bit.
Go find or purchase the Rear fender from a BX2360,BX2370,BX2660, or BX2670 they will all fit. The bolts in the handles may not come out easily. I finally put an impact on them to remove and "JB-welded" new inserts in the handle's holes.
Go find or purchase the Plateform under your feet from a BX2360 or BX2660 they will both fit. The Brake pedal is on the wrong side of the BX2370. Or cut a hole if you find a free or cheap one.
There are 2 little silver brackets that mount to the radiator that keep the metal hood from rubbing on the lower bonnet, I bought those as well.
My BX2350 has a BX2360 plateform, BX24D hood, BX2670 rear fender. Every 5 years the plastic gets brittle and falls off. I got the hood for free because it had a bullet hole in it.

I'm trying to find out if the underbonnet from these models mentioned above will also fit the bx2350. I see "Ollie" here seems to know but hasn't been on here in a year, and mentions replacing every body part EXCEPT the underbonnet, which is the only part I need/want to replace, and the dealers that have the part, don't seem to know either, part # k2651-54040 .
Does anyone know or have replaced their cracked plastic? It's about a 300.00 gamble to give er a try, lol

I have a BX2350 that lived outdoors it's whole life.
The Plastic was shot.
I found mostly used parts. (BX2670 with bullet hole in it, and so on.)
I replaced the fenders with BX2370 fenders. BX2360, BX2660, BX2370 or BX2670 work great!
Same for the hood or "Bonnet", but I had to buy a mounting bracket. (The BX2350 mounting bracket in unique to the BX2350). Headlights swap just fine. I bought a new engine cover for a BX2370.
There are 2 silver brackets that make the hood sit level. I purcased them new.
You must but or find a BX2360 or BX3660 Platform (Where you rest your feet) because of the brake location.)
Other than the Platform I have 100% BX2670 sheet metal on my BX2350.
Most Dealers are worried that you will complain about parts not fitting. Some demand a Serial number.
So, I pulled a serial number off of a BX2670 and went searching and shopping.

I posted something a few years back, but as time goes on, many more BX2350 will need this update.

Thank you for the reply. In the meantime I also checked with a buddy that sells Kubota and he gave me
# K2581-24040 for the 2350 under bonnet?, looks like the one you gave me for the later models will also fit, either way about 300 bucks for the engine cover, hmmm. Thank you

To add to an old thread…I just replaced my cracked BX2350 rear plastics with a metal BX2360 rear fender ordered new from the dealer.
Pros: Bx2360 ($900) fender costs less than a new BX2350 ($1200) fender. It’s metal and wont crack apart like the plastic.
Cons: it is not an exact fit replacement. I had to trim away metal around mower height knob, reverse foot pedal, and floor panel to make it work. You will need to also buy a few minor parts such as the rear light bulb holder assy, and a new 12v accessory plug.
Overall I’m happy with how it turned out, but if you are looking for a direct fit this is not the way to go.
