Bx2230d hydraulics

I recently bought this tractor and the rear hydraulics had never been used. Put on 3of hitch & some implements but the lift works fine but will immediately start a slow leak down. Any ideas as to cause and cure for this? Thanks

It could be very well be the the cylinder is pitted or rusted from non use.

Or another option is that the feedback linkage is out of adjustment and not allowing the control to return to neutral.

The WSM will explain how to check and adjust the Feedback linkage.
