I'm not mechanic, but I try to do what I can on my tractor to avoid hefty shop fees. I changed the oil, air, fuel filters (both) Trans and Hyd. Put in fresh fluid and I'm having a problem. Never used to be a problem before, I use my tractor in the warm months for Mowing and recently after the maintenance I cant go up any inclines with out the tractor loosing significant amounts of power. The engine never dies but there have been times where I'm full on the peddle and all forward movement stops, the tractor groans like under a load but goes no where.

I changed the fuel filters for a second time thinking it was a fuel problem but that didn't help, fuel is treated with deiseal clean, and the machine starts up with no issues what so ever. I'm fairly certain it isn't a fuel issue. I'm using rotella 10w30 for motor oil and Valvoline Unitrac Hydraulic Oil-3098 for the trans/hyd fluid. Side not when I have the loader attached the hydros are very sluggish and lack power( in terms of being able to push down on piles of brush and what not)

High range? low range?

Is this recent? after fluid change in hst?

same effect cold and hot?

have you looked at oil? foam on dipstick?

looking up " Valvoline Unitrac Hydraulic Oil-3098" ........... it seems to be a Direct replacement for Kubota udt.....

But that was in a post 10 years ago. And that is from an emal via Valvoline.

Personally - I would drop the hst oil......
clean hst tube screen filter
change hst filter

and place back in Kubota Udt....... or S-Udt2.......

Might be a $100 or more to do this ........... but it may be the solution.

In addition to what 85Hokie advised, do you hear your electric fuel pump clicking when you turn on the key, before the tractor starts? Even if you do, there is a possibility it might not be pumping properly. And remember your tractor is probably at least 13 years old. Things do wear out.

Sometimes similar issues come about when the vent hole in the Fuel tank cap gets plugged, but that also appears on flat surfaces.

Something floating/loose in the fuel tank can block the exit point and cause fuel to be cut off to varying degrees...

Is this only happening going UP a slope? Never on the flat or going down? This MIGHT hint of a possible fuel pump issue.

Just a couple additional thoughts...

stick is clean fluid, I did change the screen filter, inspected it for large amounts of metal or debris. I ordered Kubota udt fluid, and a replacement filter from Messicks. hopefully that'll sort it out.

Two other things to check
If in high range then put it in low range. Don’t press pedal all the way down like a gas pedal, relax and let the pedal move to a slower speed position so the tractor will provide more power to the wheels. See if you’re able to crawl up the hill in high range or mosey up in low range.

Second, make sure the steel rim is not spinning inside the rubber tire. If the tire pressure is low that will happen and no power is available to the tire to move the tractor.
