I need to take off the Hydraulic Control Valve to replace the O Rings. From what I am seeing in the service manual about removal it looks like the pin that holds the PTO selector is under the seat. Is it under the fuel tank? How the heck do I get to it?

The control valve on the transmission driver side. Looking at the parts layout, it does appear to be pretty buried under there. Is there a path from behind the driver rear tire?

You will have to remove the fuel tank to access and remove the control valve.
Where is the control valve leaking?

Thanks for the reply!
I was afraid of that. It is leaking behind it and it shows there are O Rings behind it so I am assuming that is where it is leaking. It is dripping out behind the control valve in what seems to be this area but it is very hard to tell.

Yes it seems to be. I don'[t see a path.

If what your circling is leaking, then that is the selector shaft. Usually you beat out the pin, and there is an oring or two behind the collar. Easier than the control valve on the pump.

Thanks - no it isn't coming from the PTO selector shaft. It is coming from somewhere behind the control valve - it just runs out in that circled area (pic 2). You can see where the fluid is getting on everything below where it is coming out. Pic 1 is of the O Rings where I assume it is coming from and I need to take off the HCV to replace these.

I was able to finally find what I was looking for after checking the service manual again and searching around on the tractor with help and a strong flashlight. I found the pin to release it and it was accessible without removing the fuel tank. It was hidden under the wiring for the seat safety switch and another wiring harness under that. So just in case anyone else needs to find it here are a few pics of where it is.
