Well, the tractor was purchased on a company account and therefore it was a "commercial purchase". Apparently, it is not the same warranty

Yes, the power train on commercial use is 3 years

I recently had issues with a kubota engine in another piece of equipment and had to do work myself because kubota dealer would not touch it

Very few Kubota dealers will touch a Kubota Industrial engine in a non-Kubota unit. They are not the same engines, and there can be liability for the dealer with the non-Kubota unit.
The unit would have to go to a Kubota Industrial Engine dealer.
We have to attend industrial engine training and Kubota equipment engine training separately.

Well, the culprit has been identified: Broken shift fork.

They said $5k to have it repaired. $3K to have it put back together. What do you all think?

Yes, it was foolish for me to take it to dealer. They got me by short hair now. I should have bit the bullet and did it myself. I could have gotten a good used transmission unit for like $1500-2000 and swapped it out.
