My throttle bar broke. Got replacement today. Trying to get it back in place. The black housing is in the way. Has anyone remove the housing? If so, how much of a PITA is it? Had to stop as dew point is super high and sweating bad. Was hoping it would slide into place but nooooo, dam engineers had to make this complicated. Appreciate any help. Thanks

Will post some pictures. The rod has a smaller diameter to go into that round slot.

Thanks for the link. Wow, this just turned into a bigger job. Have to remove steering wheel, key and lights panel to remove the entire panel. Well its raining today so guess i will have time to do this. Would hate to see what the dealer would charge to do this.

Just finished. Not real bad but a PITA no less. Have to unplug lights and starting mechanism, plus remove the steering wheel. Dam cap for the steering wheel bounced off my deck and disappeared somewhere in my garage. Always something. Now my throttle is much more soother adjusting the nuts. Thanks again to everyone for your help. The workshop manual really help.
