Hi to all: I am a new member here and this is my first post and I hope many to come. I am buying a Model M7040 HDC-1 . This is what I am looking at:

16.9x30 Cast - Ag R1 tires
Dual Remotes
Grill Guard
Rear Wiper
LA- 1153 Loader - 72" bucket
Single-Lever Hydraulic Quick Coupler
Kubota Shockless Ride (KSR)
3rd Function Value
Comes with Ultra grand Cab
Rear tires to be loaded
Block Heater

I live in New Haven, Vermont and the best price I can get so far for the above is $43,150.00 How does this price match up in your mind??? This is my first Kubota as I have had other brand but most were JD almost 60 years now. This will be my last tractor I hope and want a good one. Hope to here from all. Many thanks for your advice.

To me with the options you listed it sounds like a pretty good price. If you want to save a few bucks and end up ahead in the long run, don't get the factory radio. When you leave the dealer drop it by the local stereo shop and let them one for you. The sound is much better and will be cheaper to. I just replaced my factory radio with a Alpine for less than $150. It even has USB port for a I-pod.

I agree with Bulldogs accessment as well. Not a bad deal in any way, it seems like everything is so much more expensive but, our dollar isn't worth ..... that's the real problem. I have the feeling the list on your set-up is pretty close to 50K, certainly high 40's. If that the dealer is giving you the pretty much standard 10 percent off list, at least.

I did not order it with a radio as I never use them. I have since added a Air Ride Seat for + $500.00 to this tractor. When your 70 year old my axx needs a little help now. I will sign the order Tursday morning and wait to have it built. They said about 45 to 60 days which should be spring here in Vermont. I am told that Kubota will raise pricing on March 1, 2011 so I want to get this in at the old pricing.

I wish I had the air ride on my 9000. I hope you have better luck getting you tractor than I did when I ordered mine. It was either the end of September or the first of October when my order was placed. It was delivered in the middle of March.

Well I signed on the dotted line this morning. This will be my first Kubota tractor. They think I will see it in 60 days. We will see. Boy, did kubota raise there pricing. On march 1st the cab goes up $1100.00 with all the rest. I just got under the wire I guess.

When I bought my 9000 in 04 the closest JD could come to it was 15K more and IH was 12K more. NH was about the same as IH. They're all way to high if you ask me.

I think your dollar went down in value. Most Kubota's became cheaper here in Canada on March first. What was that old Bernanke said about little or no inflation?

Well, my dealer called today and they have my tractor in there yard. I thought it might take a lot longer to be built but 21 days is fast. They got in 4 more with my tractor. They plan to have it ready in 3 to 4 days .

They got a letter from Kubota today that they see no delays in shipping from Japan as the earthquake it did not hit any of their plants.
