2019 BX23s with 300 hours. When I bought the tractor, new, I noticed that the throttle control was stiff to move. Dealer assured me it would loosen up. It did, just a little; I got used to it. Going up the hill, I bumped the lever to slow down; snapped off inside the panel cover. Is this a nasty fix; as in hard to get to, or expensive?

Did it snap off or did the more common thing happen? The 2nd nut (or jam nut) unscrew itself and fall down beside the battery?

This hasn't happened to me, but it's quite common.

If you remove the grill by your knees (one black twisty knob) ; pull the screen, and you should be able to see it to determine if it's literally "broken" or just missing a nut (or two).

Use a nylock nut to replace if it's just missing. (won't unscrew itself)

K287145120 is the part number, $23 cdn, looks easy to replace from the parts diagram...
...course 'looks' can be deceiving.....

You can loosen it up and make the throttle a lot easier to move. I had to do that to mine. It was all I could do to move it, then read a thread on here. Super easy now.

I read that the other day too, I might loosen mine a bit. It's always been pretty stiff but manageable.

Really easy to do. I need to figure out how to adjust the forward and reverse so it coasts a little more before it stops. Behave any tips/tricks on that?

I actually had them do mine when it went in for warranty adjustments. I looked into it but can not remember exactly how.. someone here will probably chime in to help.
