The 4wd stopped working on my 2015 RTV recently when I was in the snow. I get a grinding noise that lasts for 1-2 seconds and the front wheel stutters forward maybe an inch or two before stopping.
I do get a light on the dash indicating I am engaged, but I did not get to really trouble shoot before I came to louisiana for work. I go back on the 12th for a few days and would really like to get the machine up and working.
Today I ordered two new cv axles just in case this issue. I guess my biggest question is how exactly does the RTV 4wd work? If one CV axle is broken, would it cause 4wd to not work at all? I can shift between gears with no issues at all, no issues when driving in 2wd at all, just the issues when stuck and in 4wd and the machine is struggling a little in deep snow.
