Box Scraper question

I recently picked up a wee little 3ft box scraper for my b6000, kinda neat in that the rear blade is hinged and can flip out of the way.
As per usual, there were no rippers with it, I have a 15" (maybe 18") ripper that's approximately 2.5x.75" that fits in there, but the question is how in the world you would pin it with this setup? I'm sure somebody has run in to this before.

My box blade has rippers (scarifiers) with slots in them and I did not get the locking mechanisms when I bought it used. What I do is set the scarifiers at the depth I want with the notch set in the rim of the cross bar slot and then jam a wood wedge in between the ripper and the hole.

Picked up a lightly used 48" LandPride box scraper. Has these spring metal clips to wedge the scarifiers in position. Maybe an option?

Being a dolt I thought I could just pinch the clips to remove. I can pinch them up to a point, but not enough to remove. Today is day 3 of ownership. No tool box on the BX. NH had one as "std" equipment. But that was 24 years ago. Who operates a tractor without an onboard tool box? Need to pack at least a plier in that tiny by the seat compartment behind the cup holder. Larger compartment with no cup holder would have been ok with me. Tool box. Another add on the list.

Ordered a set of F-pins. Didn't take long to get tired with those spring metal clips. Noticed a larger (too large for the BX) model of the LandPride box scrapers had pins. Better design. Only thing good about the clips are no one unless they plan ahead could "borrow" your scarfing shanks.

I ended up ordering the shanks with holes in them to match my other one, and will just add some angle pieces so I can use standard hitch pins.

Images. Broke out the RoboGrips. Made life nice when it came to removing the clips vs. a regular ~6" plier.
Image of the original clips and F pins for the OP. F pins, no tools required. Ideally the pins could be a tad thicker. Will add some "keeper" line. Weight is probably adequate, but like wearing suspenders and a belt on the trousers. Bit more security against dropping.

Where/How do those clips fit in there? They're not visible in the 2nd photo of the assembly.
My BB1560 has through-pins with lock clips. A different animal.

It is either pin or clip, not both at once.

Sorry for the comment if you were aware of that already.

So they get lifted out to allow the shanks to move forward and decouple their notches from the frame.
Ok, again a different system than my through-bolts, but learned something new.
