As mentioned in the header, ive got a B7200HST & want to put a box scraper behind it to do landscaping/leveling on just over an acre yard & finish my driveway (100' x 40'). I know a 48" would be preferred but am having a hard time finding one used, but 5 footers seem to come up more often. I'm wondering if my tractor would be able to handle a 5' or if I should be keep waiting for a4' to come up?

I tried out the 4 foot blade behind my B7200 with turf tires just the other day.

The tractor would bog with a full load of fines that had washed off the road and into the ditch.

So, Up hill, damp sand, marginal tire tread. Four foot is still "big".

Tines into a stone the size of a volley ball stopped the tractor right now. There is only so much one can expect from a 1200# tractor. ;-)

Your situation may be different.

That's what I needed to know thanks.
Right now I'm leveling piles of fill & will be tearing up some new ground in the yard area then spreading topsoil, as well as leveling piles of gravel on the driveway. So I'm thinking a 4' is probably about all I'm going to be able to handle for size.
Once the yard is done it'll just be driveway maintenance.
