Please recommend a box scraper (weight and width) for my Kubota 2660 for landscaping dirt.

I have the Landpride BB1248, i really like it. Its not the cheap one but the next. It ways about 350ish pounds, pretty heavy duty. Its the 48" width, which you probably should stick with. They also color match with tractor too.

Your owner's manual should have that info. Mine does.

I have an LMC 48" which is OK, but if I had it to do over, I would go with a Land Pride. I bought them for my other tractors and really like them. Woods makes good ones also and Rhino seems pretty good. I am sure there are others, I am just not familiar with them.

I have a 60" landpride that I used on my 2wd B8200 and power was never a issue but traction was. I'm confident that my 4wd 2620 will handle it fine since its almost a 1/3 more HP but I haven't had the opportunity to try it since getting my 2620 this spring.
EDIT; OOPS you have a BX I didn't see that until i looked at you avatar. disregard my comment on a 60"

See your owner's manual for Kubota recommendations as to size and weight of specific implements.

All depends on your horsepower and traction (machine weight, tires, 2- or 4-wd, ballast, gearing). Heavier the implement the better performance you'll get.

Be sure you buy a brand for which you can obtain replacment tines---sooner or later you'll notice one missing.

Note how the tines are adjusted and restrained. How about the backside having a dirt-flap or trap-door to smooth out 'furrows' as you pull forward.

Can you weld chain hooks on each corner to pull a drag as part of your final pass when working soil? Is there sufficient material to weld a bracket to take a trailer ball or receiver hitch ball mount (pretty handy to snuggle up beneath a trailer tongue to lift and move it or light tugging with a chain)?

Is the frame beefy enough and have enough room you can add ballast if needed? A chunk of broken sidewalk will work wonders for your soil engagement capabilities.

Good luck as you go forward. Please post your results and pictures so we may all learn.

I agree with "almost" all of what stubbie said but..... the weight of a implement only helps with traction while in the air.
