Not to hijack trackman23' post.

L45 here w/ 72" bucket. I have a line on a woods BB600 6ft box blade with hydraulic scarifiers and I think it also includes the hydraulic top link. L45 specs say rear is 56" so that would get me 8" on either side.

Would this be an appropriate width for my L45? I am thinking yes, but I wanted to toss it out here. Looks very heavy duty, anyone have opinions on this model and if that should be wide enough?

Your rear implements should be wide enough to cover your rear wheels.

hmm....6' box blade is as wide as your 72" bucket
..so it should be fine...
Maybe, but some box blade openings are a bit more narrow than the overall width since they have box tubing on the sides. How wide that box tubing is varies, but if it was 3 inches on each side, that would make the "box" 6 inches more narrow.

Of course, that's making an assumption about how the box manufacturer measures as well.

I run a 72” box blade behind my L4701 (loaded R4 rears, 4WD, HST, loader) and it seems to be a pretty good match. I know yours is the heavier TLB but I’m thinking physical dimensions and HP are pretty similar. I suspect you’d find it will work well for you.

Kind of surprised at the 56” width on your L45. Total width, outside of tire to outside of tire, the 72” loader and boxblade barely cover the wheel tracks on mine. But the rears are adjustable so maybe they’re just set wider than yours. 🤷‍♂️

I think tractordata is wrong or measuring centerline of wheels? I will take my butt out with a tape. I know the bucket is 72 I think the width is more like 70 back wheels. My lil b tractor is 54.

Just for your own information, measure the width of the rear, I'm pretty sure that you will find that your tractor is a wee bit wider than 56". Yes, a 72" box blade should serve you well.
If I am not mistaken, that 56" is the outside hub-hub dimension.

it's basically 71 or 72" at the rear outside of the tires. I think I might want a 7' box. I will have to keep thinking and let this simmer. Thanks

Something to consider is if you blade adjacent to any fences. With a wider box, just because the tires clear doesn’t mean you won’t occasionally snag the fence, pop a T post or bust a chunk out of a wooden post. If there’s any curves in the alignment, that tractor gets long (Gavin the FEL doesn’t come off easily IIRC) and wide if you find yourself cozy with a fence.
