Hello skeets, it is good to hear that you don't have or need a block heater. as you suggested, I had already searched about block heater installations. However, I did not find an installation for my specific engine application. I only want to know the location and how the heater is installed on my specific engine.Block heaters?? We aint got no block heaters,,we dont need no stinking block heaters.
Really Mel if you go to the top of the pace and find search then type in block heaters it will pull up the links in here about block hearters, maybe like block heaters for L tractor
And welcome to the Orange
It's fairly strait forward:Hello skeets, it is good to hear that you don't have or need a block heater. as you suggested, I had already searched about block heater installations. Thanks Wolfman. It's fairly strait forward:
Left side in front of the starter, remove a freeze plug, install the adapter, install the heater fill antifreeze/mix, done.
Sorry, not your tractor type but on my previous L3410 it was a simple job when combined with changing the coolant. This was 10+ years ago, but I recall removing a freeze plug, hammering in a brass (?) adapter, and threading in the element. I switched coolant types at the same time. The instructions from Kubota were more than adequate for anyone to install it.Anyone installed a block heater on a L3301 - L3901 with pictures?![]()
