I recently bought a B8200D with backhoe and FEL. I picked up a box-blade yesterday and would like to try it out, but I checked all the manuals I got with the tractor and there is nothing for the backhoe or the FEL. Does anyone know how to take one of these off (especially in a manner that will let me put it back on later!). I would also like to order the operators manual for it if anyone knows a good source that doesn't want as much money as Kubota wants for a replacement fender for this tractor! Thanks

The loader and BH were not made by Kubota, likely Woods here in the US and installed after the tractor was imported. That's why they are not in the tractor manual. I have a Woods BH manual I can email you if you like.

Is the BH mounted on a subframe, or the 3PH?

Is the BH powered by the tractor hydraulics, or a PTO pump?

In any case, what you want to do is use the stabilizers and boom to take on the entire load of the BH, so that you can gently pull the mounting pins and move the tractor forward enough to clear without stressing the hydraulic connections. Then disconnect the pump or hoses and drive forward.

Watch the BH seat, you may need to tip it up or remove it. If you have a Woods style subframe, the frame is pinned under the drawbar and up near the loader crossmember. The front end needs to come down to disengage, the rear needs to move rearward.

Once clear, I lower the BH frame down onto a couple blocks and wiggle all the valves to make sure it's as low and steady as can be.

Karl is correct Bl4520 is a Woods backhoe. Same as the Woods BH750. I have a PDF of the parts book I can send to you if that will help.

Emailing the manual would be greatly appreciated! (mopped@cfl.rr.com). The backhoe is on a subframe and it has a PTO pump. Do you also know if there is a setting on the BF300A FEL to stop float? Whenever I am trying to push dirt the bucket wants to rise up over it. Thanks!
