When you say that you need power what do you mean?

It will have more power shovel but it's not a 416 Cat backhoe either. I have been around a backhoe that size for years. If I knew what you are wanting to do with it I might be able to give you better advise.

I have a BH92 on a L3940 HST Cab, and have been digging tree stumps for about 18 months. It seems to do fine. My only complaint has been the main controls seem to be not as robust as the physical portions of the back hoe. I've had o-rings go out twice, and only at 350 hours. Not sure how much less flow you get on the 3240 compared to 3940, but power hasn't been an issue for me.

As mentioned above, power is relative. If you are only needing to do simple digging every now and then, this will probably suffice. Have you looked at any mini excavators? Sometimes those can give you some additional power that you need. However, without knowing the purpose, it's hard to say.

I bought a used bobcat trackhoe a few months ago. If I had it to do over again I would have never bought a backhoe for my tractor. Even though it's another machine to take care of it does so much more work it's not funny. I don't ever see myself ever putting the BH on my tractor again.

Here's the kicker, I paid $500 less for the trackhoe than what the BH cost new.
