One of the stabilizers on my BH90 backhoe is slow to retract after I have been using it for a while. It retracts normally when just getting started but once things get heated up it really slows down. Only in the retract, it goes down fine.
Could it be a hose that gets constricted?

Start with thinking about hose(s) before considering valve.

If you have the original (fuzzy outer fabric jacket or covering) hoses (especially if they're weeping or oil soaked) I'd start with changing out that side. If improves response then also do other side too.

If OEM hoses and ten years old or so starting thinking about completely rehosing the machine.

Get a set of crow-foot flare-nut ratchet wrenches for changing hoses (Sears is best for the money). A set of hydraulic service wrenches (open end 15-degree opposing heads) by a name brand will save you a lot of heartache. Cresents and pipe wrenches are NOT the way to change hoses.

Please post back your continuing experiences so we may all learn.

My thought is a blow seal in the ram.
It would be a pain, but if you swap rams per side that would give you a 100% answer if it's the ram seal or line/valve issue. ;)
