Needed a wood chipper to help clear 5 HA of loblolly pines trees. Considered Titan and multiple Woodmax models. Lots of the ones I wanted got sold out before I saved up the cash. Turns out the Betstco 5” Self Feeding Wood Chipper n/VL-WCX5 was in stock and matched most of my needs.

I would have preferred a Woodmax, but avaibility and ~$1000 less made me choose Betstco.

The shipping package is odd. A welded together steel angle iron cage. Took a while to get it out. A few of the cables holding the intake chute broke, leading to it being dented slightly. Will post an update after assembly and first uses.

Sounds like the shipping company got a little rough to have those metal bands break.

I love mine! It's a beast......

Should have searched threads before posting. I thought I was the only VL-WCX5 owner here.
