Best method to properly grade fresh fill?

I do a ton of driveways as well as fill (in the blank) projects.

Bucket to distribute material.
Box to work and shape a surface.
Rake to finish the grading.
Roller to set the surface.

If you don't have any of that or don't want to go to that amount of finish...

Just do it smooth with whatever you got - lol.

Top and tilt can't be beat for this type of work. Set the slope/crown, change the cut angle etc.

I also started some grading projects right away and quickly realized that while I could "get by" (even with my limited seat time and skills) a box blade was the right tool for the job.

While I see the huge advantage of rear hydraulics for those who do this work a lot, in my case / budget will have me doing manual adjustments for the long term :p
