I reckon, once I eventually get to it, this one will go something like....buy some steel, cut off the bits that don't look like a backhoe, maybe even plasma-cut some bits this time, weld some of the bits together, add some paint, add some hydraulics....hopefully it looks and works something like a backhoe when it's done.
This is the shortened version that doesn't allow for messing up and re-making bits, changing my mind, getting distracted lots of times, so it might take a while.
I think it helps that we have a 40 year old tractor that looks a bit rough. It means that if what I make also looks a bit rough it fits right in.
