I got this tractor after it had been left in a field. I addressed several obvious issues and tried to start it but no dice. I have primed and bled the injectors after replacement of the fuel and filter. Last night I saw this and it appears to a fuel shutoff. The engine wants to start but seems to be starving for fuel. I would really appreciate advice on this topic. Thank you all in advance!

The lever on the left is most likely a decompressor lever, pull it out while cranking to get the engine up to full crank speed then close it start engine. If the cable is sticky or seized, you may not be getting the valves closed properly and enough compression. Check that it functions easily.

Fuel cut off would be on the right (looks like it's missing).
And like 100 td said, Compression release is on the left. ;)

If you bled the injectors you would know if it's getting fuel to the engine, was there fuel?
