I recently purchased a '93 B8200HST. I have been using it for 2 weeks with no problems , but yesterday I was unable to get the range selector into low. Worked ok in middle and high position.
On inspection there is a pin which is part of the selector handle that engages with another bar with a complementary 'hole' in it to engage the low gears. However, this pin is just hitting the metal bar, and not pushing it to one side to let the pin engage.(clutch was depressed when doing this)
I don't want to try forcing this too much, because I think I am just not doing something correctly here? None of the mechanisms appear bent, so just wondering if some of the more experienced members here have any thoughts on this.
