B8200 hour meter

I have been having trouble finding a hour meter/tac for my old b8200. The hour meter seems to be working, but the tach is not .its spinning really fast. Dont know if I really need it if I cant get one. anyone have any suggestions? i have struck out on quite a few distributers. thanks

I ended up buying a digital tach and hour meter. My issue was I didn’t have the original generator but an alternator. This was a direct fit to the dash. I did need to add a wire to the alternator for the tach to work.
This could be an option for you.

Tinytach runs off pulses from the injector pump (I recall) and can be installed under the hood if you want it out of sight
