Ok. So this is not the first post about the 3pt hitch problem with the tractor. The problem was that the implement kept lowering on the 3 pt hitch if i was not holding the lift lever in position.

Recently I just replaced the piston rings and inspected the cylinder for any damage. Looked at the control lever mechanism and did not find any problem either. Put everything back together, and it did not fix the problem. Looked at the lever arm and its adjustment, and as far as i can tell looks normal.

Any thoughts?

I finally fixed the problem with the implement lowering last week. After all was said and done, the problem was with a spacer on the control arm, or should i say the lack of a spacer. As soon as I fabricated a piece of metal that applied an outward force on the control lever arm, the problem was fixed. Just thought I'd put this in for anyone who may be having the same problem. Doing this first would have saved me ALOT of time.
