Hi all,
My neighbor is selling his B7610, 4x4, HST, with 226 hours for 15K. The going rate for comparable machines in my area seems to be around 9k-9.5K with FEL.
The extra expense is for all the stuff that goes with it. I has the FEL, 48" brush cutter, box scraper, chipper, rototiller, rake, Harrow, Auger with 3 different sized augers. A box full of maintenance tools, Diesel storage tank and several 5 gal diesel fuel cans. All look to be in good condition (dusty but dry) stored inside.
Does the price seem reasonable for the tractor, attachments and accessories? I am a newb so if I have not included pertinent info, let me know and I will try to find it. Thanks.

Sounds very reasonable to me, especially with the low hours and if it was garaged its whole life. That makes a huge difference in "rate of decay" of the rubbery bits and the moisture penetration into the innards of the machine. Drive it, run the bucket and the 3pt hitch, as well as shift it in and out of each gear (range) and if everything works as advertised, get out your checkbook.

Good idea to do a full hydraulic and oil service on it unless he has just done one.

Your life will never be the same!!!

Good Luck!

Thank you CaveCreekRay,
I have a trailer to do a fit check. If I can haul it and it passes the checks you recommended I am leaning towards pulling the trigger. :)

If it makes you feel any better, I bought my L3800 for $19k and it came with a grand worth of hood damage. I got a roto-tiller, rake, and box scraper in the deal and it had 126 hours on the clock. Yours is a little smaller and perhaps a little older but, your neighbor is probably not going to sell you a lemon.

Have fun and post some pictures.

:)

Well, Pulled the trigger. Tractor is kinda dirty. Everything seems to operate correctly. No leaks. Still bringing all the attachments over to my place. Putting around the lot with a sappy grin on my face. :)

Oh, how I remember that grin! I did the same! :)

Looks like you made out real well. The collective sticker price for the attachments alone would be some BIG $$$!

Congratulations, and welcome.

Congratulations on the tractor. I had a B7610 that I owned for 5 yrs. very tough little tractor. I never had any problems with mine.
