B7510 starting issue

Greetings,My 2008 B7510 after it sets not used for a few days is slow starting, it will whirl over about three times, then it goes tada, tada, tada, and then fires up suddenly with quite a bit of black smoke. Any ideas on the problem? Thanks

Defective/weak glow plugs and/or insufficient preheat time.
