Hello all. I am new to the forum and need some help. I have a B7500HSD and I have noticed recently that there is a puddle of oil under my front left wheel after it has been stored between uses. After further checking, the oil is coming from the front left hub and I can see where it is running from there, into the inside of the wheel and down the tire. Does anyone know what might be the cause of this? Maybe a seal or bearing? And if so, how hard is it to change? My tractor is approximately 10 years old but I only have 450 hours on it. Any help or advice would be greatly apprecited.

thanks

My B7510 is leaking in the same spot, so it must be a common problem. Mine is not bad enough that I want to take it apart yet, but the parts diagrams shows a couple of seals that probably need to be replaced.

Yes, that's sort of where I am at on this. It leaks but not to the point where I am willing to invest the time in tearing it apart because it appears like it might be a bit of a job. I just hate having a leak.

It's kind of a common problem with these axles. I filled mine with 90w gear oil and it doesn't leak anymore.

Welcome to OTT!
If you do decide to replace the seals, I would suggest that you get them for both sides, and do both at the same time. They both have the same amount of hours, and it would probably be easier when it's fresh in your mind.
