B7200HST Hydraulics

-I installed a Brand control valve on the FEL of myB7200HST as recommended by members here but have something wrong. Everything acts normal except for the "float" position. If I push through the detent position the loader raises up instead of floating. It seems to me if everything else is working properly the float should also but obviously I am wrong and need help.
It is a Brand 9-7401 LV22RFSTKAB .
