Hi all, I am new to this forum so I thought I would share some of the mods I am working on. I have a B7200D and also a B7200D HST, both working tractors. Over the past few months I have been carrying out some mods.
I started with the B7200D. I picked up a power steering ram and hydraulic block from a B8200 and with some reworking and new hydraulic pipes, I fitted the power steering kit to the B7200D. I also added a weight carrier to the front of the tractor and fitted 265 pounds of weights. I fitted rear wheel weights which are 90 pounds each to give the tractor good traction when working the 43 inch rotavator. I still have some of the body panels to re fit and I am going to fit LED lights all round. I also intend to make a rear pick up hitch fro attaching trailers.
These are some photos of the work to date.

Just can't beat power steering on these tractors. I added the factory kit to my tractor about four years after I bought it new. I started digging out a basement for an addition I was adding and got tired of manhandling the steering with a full bucket and turf tires in close quarters. I am sure the steering gear will last longer as well.

Hi Donystory, yes it takes all the pressure off the steering box. I also added grease nipples to the pivot bushings on the knuckle arms as these had no method for lubricating them, you can see this in the first photo. I fitted my first powersteering conversion to the B7200HST which has the FEL for the same reason as you did. I will get some photos together and post the mods I carried out on it in the next few days.

Great job on the steering!! The only problem with two tractors is you can't drive them both at once. One has to just sit there...

Hi gpreuss, having two tractors comes in very handy when using one to load a trailer with and the other to draw it away. Also I have two sons well capable of giving me a hand when it comes to driving the tractors. I also have a small G3 HST used for small pulling jobs.
