I've been looking through the parts book for the right part. I'm looking for the part that stops the control handle for the 3 point from dropping all the way down. should be some sort of bolt and wing nut thing I think. I can't for the life of me find it. One would think it would appear where the control lever is but i haven't found it there or any other page.

I'm trying to keep my 3 point arms from dropping to the ground, and a bolt isn't cutting it. I'm thinking it should be something special that will lock in and not spin as you tighten the wingnut.

Does it have a flat bar for the control or a round one?
Is it a 2wd or 4wd?
Does your B7200 have positional control on the 3 point control? That's to say as you move the lever the three point arms move with the lever?
Most of those just have up and down and not positional control, it was an option on 4wd only models.

if it does have a flat control lever and it's positional controlled, then, as far as the bolts, just go to a hardware store and buy bolts, nuts( for inside spacing), washers (one in one out) and wing nuts.
Like I said this will only work if you have the right valve.

If it's got a round lift lever , it's 2wd, and does not have optional control follow the note for 2wd adjustment.

mine is 4wd HST and i have the flat lever

I don't know if its positional control or not though. I'm thinking its just up and down. i mean i can bring them up but I need a bolt or something to prevent the lever from going all the way back down and dropping my deck. It springs down unless the 3 point is in the full up position.

I'll try bolts and nuts again. I couldn't get it tight enough and it would come lose after some use. I wasn't sure if the original part was something special.

Is the handle loose and sloppy?
If it is then it needs the detent adjusted repaired.
That will keep the handle from just flopping around.

I wouldn't call it "sloppy" per say. It doesn't move side to side. It's just that unless the deck/3 point is in the full up position the lever will spring down causing the 3 point to drop. That's why I need the stop. otherwise the 3 point will drop to the ground, unless i hold the leaver up some the entire time.

You have a bad detent, that's what "locks" the lever in the place you set it.
