B7100HST Hour Meter

This may be a stupid question but what does the last digit on the hour meter represent. My book explains how to read the hours and minutes but says nothing about the digit to the right of the H.

When I have the key in the on position the meter clicks and flips the digit.

It's just an indicator that the meter's running, sort of like the second hand on an analog clock as a quick indicator that its running. It clicks over every few seconds.
