Welp, my d750a had a lot of blow by and smoke, now it won’t start. Picked up this b6200 With a d850 because the engine ran on the first crank, but the 3point won’t lift. Figured I would throw the engine in the B7100 and be done with it, but I really like the longer frame and would love to use this front pulley to mount a hydraulic pump to run various accessories. I have to use the old radiator because of the two hoses on the bottom and the smaller hose on top, so using the longer frame would make that easier as well. Only problem I think I might have is the 4wd shaft to the front Axle may have to be longer.
Any advice or opinions are welcome! Wanting to make a better, more useful machine, not staying original. I definitely want to use the b7100 hood though.

Cool front bumper. Liquid filled?

Saw a similar design (except square) on an old ford scut, & that was filled with lead shot.

I’m impressed by the radiator and the bumper!
Unfortunately, that radiator won’t work on the d850. I am going to completely rebuild the D750. I might put it on an engine stand to run it all together and then store it for when the D850 wears out, or I find an another nice b7100 to actually restore.

I don't think the b7100 front axle will even mount to a B6200E frame.
Might be much easier to cut the b7100 front frame apart and add what you want to it.

I need to do some measurements, but it looks like the exact same mount.
You can look at illustrated parts lists on Messicks and (hopefully) find the part number. Then click on that part number to see the price and availability (unless it’s obsolete). Then on that page at the bottom is a button that shows how many models that part fits. Then push that for a list of those models! See if both models are on the list.

You used to be able to do something similar on Kubota site but I can’t see how that works anymore on their website.

The front axle frame does not cross over, neither do any of the other supporting / attached parts.

Well, I got the d750a swapped out with the d850. After cleaning this engine up, and looking up numbers, it is definitely a 20hp.
I used the original frame from the b7100 but I could have used the longer frame from the b6200. I decided if I wanted to modify, I will just cut and weld.

Where did you find the Numbers to verify it's a 20HP engine?

That D850 is only 15HP, not 20HP.
20HP motors don't have a water pump and they don't have a head that has compression release.
20HP D850's are extremely rare and they didn't come in B6200's.
The D750 that was in the B7100HST actually as more HP output, 16HP, because it doesn't have a waterpump to drive.

All done! Runs like a champ. Just shredded an overgrown grass field. 3ft high and went through it 10x faster than the D750 could. Did not bog the engine once. Cant wait to hook my box blade up to it.
