Jeff,

I think you will be fine....however - throw some weight around the front end!;)
Before you hit the PTO lever.......hook up the 3 point, and raise and lower then hook the pto shaft up and do the same. The PTO shaft might need to be cut, and IF SO, you must cut from both pieces.....:)

Make sure your 3 point stop lever is in the right place too.

If you cannot lift it your dealer can bump up the relief valve pressure a little bit which can make a big difference.
On some tractors there are two different sets of holes in the 3 pt lift arms into which are connected the lift links., In one position, you get more height and in the other more weight but less height. Some owners have drilled additional holes in the arms of tractors which dont have this feature. The hole does not have to move much to make a big difference.

This image is from my M7040 manual but the principle is the same.

My 1980 B7100 3 point was rated at 400kg (not 400 lbs) as per the original owners manual. I have a 48" King Kutter brush hog (app 400lb) & the tractor handled it easily, no hesitation at all when lifting off the ground.

Same here. Got a 4" King Kutter on my B7100 and lifted it like a boss.
