B7100d steering gear

I need a steering gear for my b7100d (non hst) anyone have any luck sourcing them or rebuilding them????

I am not sure which part you are referring to as the gear. I think either 03 or 05.
Messick's seems to have both available. Both are outrageously expensive. ($850)

I crossed the part number for 03 to ebay and found a steering shaft and nut ball for $79.
Did the same with 05 and found a selector shaft for $60.

I've never personally opened up one of these gearboxes though so I don't know what other parts you may have to ruin in order to get to what you need. Others probably know.
