I inherited my father in law's B7100 after drooling over similar Kubotas for years. It is a 1978 4WD w ~1500 hrs. It has a finish cutter on the back and cuts my yard well. It needs some work but runs great. The 1st and most pressing problem is it has ag tires all the way around. I would like to buy a used set of rims and turf tires. I have found (I think) the correct tire size. 6x12 for the front and 12.4 x 16 for the rear, is that right? Second question, what size rims? The fronts are 4 lug w a 13" diameter and the rears are 6 lugs w a 17.5". Are these standard size rims that I can buy anywhere? If so how do a specify what rims to buy? Apologies in advance, I know nothing about tractors.

B7100's take:
Ag's
Front 6-12
Rear 8-16

Turf
Front 20.5 X 8.00 - 10
Rear 29 x 12.00 - 15

The rim dimensions are measured at the bead not on the outer dimensions.

Thanks for the reply. If I am reading this correctly, the turf front rims are 10" diameter and the rears are 15". That would make the specs for the front 10" 4 lug and the rear 15" 6 lug?

While it may be the right size, it might not be heavy enough of material to hold up for tractor use, I don't know.

I had a vendor ask me to measure the offset. He told me to take a straight edge and lay it across the back edge of the rim and measure the distance to the center. It was 4 inches. Does this mean I have a 4 " offset? How much does this matter/ what is the importance of offset?

The wrong offset could have the tire rubbing the inside of the fender well or sticking out past the fender. I think the way you measured the wheel is the correct way. All though I'm not a tire expert, I did stay at a holiday inn last year.

That a good one! :D

For the front's the right offset keeps the tires and rims from rubbing the steering and if 4wd the drive hubs. ;)
