Just took the hydraulic control lever/valve apart - lever was flopping around with no noticeable detent at the Neutral position. Large bolt holding spring & ball bearing was so tight I couldn't budge it, so had to take the upper lift arm off to un-bolt & remove the control valve. There was no ball bearing inside the housing! Scrounged around my junk & found one about 1/4". Re-assembled the whole thing & it works great. I even adjusted the upper stop & now the relief valve dosen't squeal when the lift comes to the top of it's travel.
