B7100 Assembly Pump Question

I am restoring a 1976 B7100 Hydrostatic trans...I have a serious hydraulic leak at the assembly pump and the drive shaft connection. I have replaced the seal but still have a leak. Any suggestions? What are the set screws used for on the Assembly Pump Charge?

Haven't the slightest but I do have the I&T manual shop manual that covers that machine and it's transmission. I can scan the pages on the hydro transmission if it would help.
