Have a B7000, rear tires slide on shaft and have a pin with cotter key that goes through shaft to hold rim on.
These rims also have two bolts each with springs and lock washer that tighten rim to shaft. Is there a specific torque and also if not what is there function?
Thanks
Ron

The bolt is the primary, and the pin through the axle is secondary. I don't know a torque spec- I tighten mine down till my elbow clicks. Even then, there is a better design, because the bolt only holds the hub tight so much. I plan to replace them with this;

Is there any one out there that has gone to that style of hub securement?
It looks great but I would like to here others speak of it as to what there thoughts are.

Thanks for you reply
