B7000 work in progress finding parts and one piece at a time

Still plugging away at finding the right parts and finding new toys for the tractor. Decided to do away with the old rusted patched no guard muffler. Well the right one got here awful fast shipping from across the pond. Bad part the pipes and braces were welded wrong and with too thick stock. Took hours to remove the heat shield between the muffler and fuel tank -battery box. Using a small cut off tool and a die grinder I was able to get the lower rear nut onto the stud and tightened as best as possible. It is on but makes no difference as the engine is louder than the old muffler was. Not to mention it sits at 15 degrees lift off compared to the hood. Low rider lol. found an old back blade that fits the tractor. Ground off the rust scrapes and scratches; and rattle canned it Rust Oleum Nite Tide and Orange. Photo's old muffler New mistake.
