hey i appreciate all the helpful info on this site.just bought my first kubota.i think its a 6100e case says 6001 but i have read that this is common.(got the bill of sale from po and kubota dealership 1988 states b6100e)it is a 80 model runs and works great.rotten front tires,rusty seat.loose brakes.bent steering wheel,inoperable lights,steering seal out,worn out ball joints and bent tie rod.but the little 650 diesel purrs like a tiger puffs a little when mowing tall thick grass and otherwise pretty straight and without leaks,bought it with a finish mower for 1550.oo which is more than book but i have a feeling i did ok
