I have an 80’s vintage B6100 4wd With an FS850 rototiller. When towing dirt in second gear I hear a click click noise at a Speed close, possibly, to the rotation of the wheel. in third PTO gear the noise does not occur. If I raise the Rototiller in second gear out of the dirt and spin the rotor tiller, the noise does not occur. Does anyone on this thread have any idea what the cause may be. I could continue using the tractor in third gear. However, I am concerned that there’s loose metal floating around in the gearbox that could cause the entire gearbox to self-destruct if I run the Rototiller in third gear..
