I want to install an auxiliary hyd valve to operate a loader. I have the block in the hyd line coming off the pump. In that block is a threaded port on the back side. My question is, does this tractor have a closed centre or open centre hydraulic system. I have seen blocks with two ports on them which is what I was planning on building with a power beyond system. With this plug there, would I be better off to tap into it with a closed centre valve and run the return to the filler port on the trans. I have plumbed in hyd valves on different tractors but they have always been open centre. Thank you in advance

All Kubota's with the exception of some M7 and M8 models are open center hydraulics.

The plug in the block was just a way for them to cross drill the internal hydraulic port to make a loop, it is of no use to tap into it, in fact you'll get no pressure if you try to come off of it.

You need to either get or make the proper adapter plate, there are posts on here about it:
